The roping horses at Superior Western Horses are purchased from breeders or at times from an individual, but never cattle auctions with unknown heritage and questionable health.  We are not interested in the "Quick Turnaround". We find horses with great minds, excellent conformation for longevity, and of course they have to be beautiful, as my wife loves a gelding with a dorsal stripe and Dun factors!
