Our goal is to meet all of our clients horse needs. We believe
in a gentle hand with all horses. No matter the nature of the horse,we believe
that all horses have the ability to learn and strive to want to please people.
Troy has over 15 yrs of experience in horsemanship We use slow work focusing
on bridle acceptance, reactions need to be responsive as opposed to reactive,
and Troy teaches the horse how to move their body through gentle pressure.
We also offer tuning up and exercising for those who don't have the time to
get their horses back in shape for competition.

Our goal is to establish each individual's learning curve
and physical abilities so to maximize their training. Our philosophy is to
maintain a healthy balance between arena training and field riding. The horses
spend as much time as possible on the trail, exposed to everything nature
has to offer. Cattle, dogs, deer and ponds are all an important part of teaching
your horse to be confident and trusting.
Ground Training
Haltering, tying, leading, lunging, trailer loading, bathing, clipping, standing
for farrier. We can address any of these issues according to the owner's needs.
Starting Under Saddle
Colt starting-Horse training: minimum 60 days riding and ground work. Teaching
your horse to be respectful, soft and supple , moving your horse forwards
backwards and left and right. At the end of their training period, you will
have a quiet, confident and respectful partner who has been ridden outside
the arena and is ready for your particular interest - be it competition or
just a good solid trail horse that is a pleasure to be around. Each horse
is an individual and the training program is adapted to suit their needs mentally
and physically. The youngsters are started in an arena and out on the trail
as soon as possible.

Refining Skills Under Saddle
We work with horses on refreshing their skills, teaching new ones, or addressing
problems the owners may be having with their horse. It is a pleasure to ride
a horse with "handle". Once a foundation has been laid we can begin
refinement. A superb stop, rollbacks and spins are the rewards you get from
taking the time to build a relationship with your horse.
Specializing in Roping and working cow training. Cow horses
are amazing athletes. Speed, agility, finesse and versatility are just a few
qualities that cow horses possess.

Cattle Work
We accustom our horses to tracking, moving and working around cattle, handling
a rope, and dragging or pulling weight.

Trail Riding
We have access to acres of pastures that we use for trail training to introduce
the horses to woods, streams, hills, water, and other natural obstacles.

Troy believes good training involves instilling confidence
in horses. He does expect total respect when working with a horse and knows
this is key to a safe and usable horse .Training horses is an everyday and
all day lifestyle.
