Rey Olena is a 2006 registered QH gelding. By the great Sonita Lena and by a Rey Jay, Doc's Oak bred mare. This young gelding has four months of professional reining training. He is amateur safe, would make a lovely woman's or even child's show horse. He is extremely rideable, with everything from a verbal stop to lead changes. His canter departures are smooth and easy, he is calm and quiet.  From reining patterns, to sorting calves and roping, he is solid. He has been field worked, he is exceptional in the pens and his mind is good enough that he could be made a drill team horse or be taught the playday patterns.  This gentleman was bred at Texas A&M University, he was born and raised in their Animal Science program, dedicated to advancing the best of Quarter Horse bloodlines.  Standing 15h, a beautiful blood bay this young man has great hooves, a soft mouth, flowing mane and tail, and a soft, kind eye.
